Alrighty then! Here we have an 11x14 Rochester View camera with the standard 11x14 film back as well as the 8x10 reduction back(needs ground glass-OR use plain glass and cover it with 3M tape). The camera is in pretty nice shape given its age although as you can see there are a few drill holes here and there from assorted modifications over the decades. The bellows have a single pinhole on the right near the rear that I could see, there may be others. Bellows extend to about 30".

The original handle is long gone and looked kinda too thin for the weight of the camera so get a new one! The hardware for attachment is still there as you can see. Now to the holders.....most will need some kind of repair, see the pics. This camera takes lens boards that seem to be about 5" Sq, maybe a hair less for a better fit.

Oh, I forgot to mention...You don't really need insert sleeves to use film in a plate holder, all you need are a few tabs of double sided tape, one in each corner and one in the middle for good luck. If the tape is too tacky just stick it against your T shirt till the right level of tackiness is achieved.

I was asked about ANSI measurements on the camera/holders and here is my reply....

Hey there,

Sorry its taken so long to get back to you regarding ANSI standards, I had to ask a pal of mine how/where/what to actually measure to get that figure.

So! I measured from the septum to the outside edge of the film holder and it reads as 8mm, I measured the ground glass plane to the edge of the back and it reads as 6mm. I'm assuming that the difference is the thickness of the glass plate itself? I didn't have the correct calipers to measure so used a ruler instead.

I measured a 'modern' 8x10 holder and its septum to outside edge measured 7mm, a wooden graflex holder was used. So I guess the difference is 1mm or so compared to the holders with the camera, whether that would actually be visible in a negative I highly doubt but there it is.
