The specific model is the result of collaboration between Certina and the Formula 1 team - BMW Sauber F1, launched in 2009, and in terms of design, this partnership is carefully reflected.

2008 is a very good year for the BMW Sauber F1 Team: the first "double," the first pole position in the history of the team, 11 podiums, and 3rd place in the final constructors' standings. Certina, as an official partner, honors these excellent results and releases a chronograph watch model with an automatic mechanism.

The dial is designed in the colors of the racing team, and the sporty appearance is further emphasized by the polished bezel with a tachymeter scale and sub-dials at "12 o'clock" and "6 o'clock," which are made of carbon - the dynamics are emphasized by the red hands of the chronograph. And last but not least, the model provides indications not only for the date but also for the day of the week - this way, no Formula 1 fan will miss either the practices or the race itself. The case dimensions are 42 mm by 15 mm in height - very modern, but at the same time comfortable to wear, also because of the strap, which is made again from high-quality leather with a face imitating carbon fibers.

At the heart of the watch "beats" the well-known and widely used Valjoux 7750 movement - an automatic chronograph, with a power reserve of 42 hours, operating at 28,800 vibrations. The case back is transparent, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful finish and rotor, proudly bearing the inscription Certina Official Partner of the BMW Sauber F1 Team.

In addition to all this, we draw your attention to the fact that the model is produced in a limited series of only 4000 pieces.
