The drawing, executed in charcoal and white chalk on early 19th century paper, depicts a portrait (bust lenght) of a noble lady.
Left : a smaller version of the same subject.
Back side : a rought scetch also depicting a portrait of a woman.
Authorship : the drawing is from the French School of the Charles X period.
Period : ca. 1820-1830.
Size : 46,5x36,3cm.
Condition : Fairly good. Some scattered dirt throughout. Corners : slight traces of folding. Top side slightly damaged. Unframed.
