Listed is a vintage Salsa A La Carte, from Salsa's early days when they were building in California. The serial number is SM1352. The size as measured could be called a 17": the seat tube measures 17" ctt, the effective top tube measures approximately 21", the head tube is 90mm, and the standover is 28-1/4". It has most of an XTR M950 drivetrain, with DT Hugi wheels which have had the spoke crosses wrapped and soldered. It's got a newer SRAM 970 cassette which doesn't look out of place, as well as a crankset the brand of which is unknown but which was a common stock option on Klein bikes of the era. The brakes are Dia Compe 987s. The bike recently got a tune up with frash shift cables, and everything works as it should. The tires show some cracking and may be original. It shows some mild scratches and scuffs typical of a used bike of this age, but is uncommonly clean overall.
