This vintage bird sculpture by Canadian artist Gordon Hoselton (1930-2003) is a sleek piece of modern art. The statue stands at 9 inches tall and features a beautiful aluminum finish. Hoselton etched his signature, Canada, and number 115 on the bottom of the sculpture. There are some scratches and surface imperfections due to the age of the sculpture, see photos for details.

Hoselton is known for sculpting small, stylized animals using a variety of media. He founded Hoselton Studio in 1986. Hoselton worked with Allan Butters to develop a process to sand cast aluminum figurines.
