VINTAGE 1940's SYROCO WOOD SERVING PIECE 

China Aster Flowers & Leaves 12" TRAY 

A very pretty wood composite tray that was made in the 1940's by Syroco Wood of Syracuse, NY (see photo of label).  The design on it is raised with (what looks like) Asters and leaves.  It is in good condition with only some wear to the finish.  When I held the tray to a light, I could see 2 very tiny open lines (the largest is just over 1/8" long x a fraction of an inch wide, you cannot see them at all unless you hold the tray to a light).  It appears to have been done in the manufacture.  This is a lovely old Syroco Wood Tray to add to any collection.
