Amata / Akitsugu
Real name, Seiichi Amata. Born August 4, 1945 in Honda (Shibata City), Honda Village, Kitakambara District, as the eldest son of Sadakichi Amada. Moved to Tokyo in March 2015 and entered the Japanese sword training training center (Director: Hikosaburo Kurihara Akihide). Made a peace memorial sword in 2015. Served as an assistant to Akihira Miyairi in the production of the Ise Jingu-shikinen Sengu Mikami treasure sword. June 8, 2017 Received production approval from the Cultural Properties Protection Committee. Exhibited at the 1st Sword Technology Presentation in 30 years and won the Excellence Award. May 23, 1997 Certified as an important intangible cultural property holder (living national treasure). August 24 Toyoura Town Honorary Townsman title and townsman emblem are awarded.
