A beautiful, 21 cm tall, four sided, Royal Fukagawa Blue, gold, green, rouge de fer (rust red) Arita porcelain flower vase.

Fukagawa Porcelain was established in Arita porcelain in 1894. The company is known for its clear "Fukagawa" blue and iron red enamel. In 1903, it was exhibited at the World Exposition in Paris, where it won the highest honour, the Medaille d’Or. In 1910, it received a Royal Warrant (or the Japanese equivalent) from the Imperial Household Agency and supply porcelain to the Imperial Household.
The decoration of this vase is in the Kakiemon style.
