I’m proud of how far this beauty has come! I have loved and collected American Girl since the late 80’s and I’m excited for the opportunity to find dolls in need of a refresh and offering them a new home!

This is Just Like You or Truly Me doll #46, with her beautiful dark skin and curly medium brown hair, she looks a lot like Gabriela...so much so that she was retired just prior to her debut. This doll was an early version, manufactured in 2008 for the 2009 release.

She comes dressed in her original meet outfit that includes the pink star hoodie top, gray capri leggings and cute slip on shoes. She also wears her original pink undies and coordinating headband…which is a good thing because I am not great curling hair as you can see! It’s clean and totally tangle free- I’m just a very poor curler so don’t let her hair scare you off ❤️

She has been thoroughly cleaned and looked over. I have restrung her with high quality cord since her limbs were very loose. I was able to remove many spots and blemishes on her vinyl, but there MAY be a few small flaws that remain- please review photos carefully for best representation of her condition at present. There is a dark spot on her back leg that could not be removed and is shown in photos; she also has some scuffs on her forehead that were once very very bad gouges but they’ve been reduced to scratches as shown. She has been played with and enjoyed and has a great future ahead!

She will be shipped carefully packaged in a box from a smoke-free home. Thank you for looking!
