put indicator on your trace and push the tooth pick in until it stops, then snip as close to the indicator as you can. 

Easy to adjust depth by sliding up or down your trace.

RE USABLE 

just pull the tooth pick piece out of the indicator with forceps or pliers ready for your next session.
