After 73 years, the wiring can lose its insulation and become extremely dangerous. It is a well-known fact that National's pilot light wiring uses rubber-containing cord, so if you touch it, the insulation will peel off and you will be left with bare wires.
Peeling of the wiring cable insulation can cause short circuits, breakdowns, fires, electric shocks, etc. All wiring in each part has been replaced with high-voltage heat-resistant wire. Also, power transformers from this time were often broken due to green rust corrosion, so we replaced them with Asahi-made ones before the current break.
This is not a fused transformer so the fuse holder is attached separately.
With no bulk and excellent minimum aperture, it will be able to be used stress-free for decades to come.
