Tuesday 1st January, 1991, Hanging Rock Racetrack

Pre-owned 33 year old racebook in very good condition. Cover has a few minor marks but is well intact and has no rips or tears.  Inside pages have some small writing, with a few jockeys and placings written in and scratchings marked in, and there is some discolouration due to age. See photos for details. A few bet receipts are tucked away inside as can be seen in the photos.

The infamous Hanging Rock Cup meeting held on New Years Day in 1991. This was an 8 race meeting featuring the running of the Hanging Rock Cup. A photo of each race and a full list of horses can be seen in the photos. 

In Melbourne - The Stradbroke Handicap, The January Handicap, The GROUP 3 Standish Handicap won by GRANDIOSE for the second time, the LISTED Bagot Handicap won by ROUGH SEAS.

In Sydney - The William Inglis Classic won by ELECTRIQUE, The Tattersals Club Cup, The Carrington Stakes

In Perth - The Perth Cup won by ZAMLIGHT.

Includes such horses as: Silver Shark, Asher Star, Pontifico, and many more I am not familiar with.
