Laibach's Opus Dei is the band's third LP, originally released in 1987, offering the Slovenian band's unique blend of uplifting yet disturbing melodies. An essential release from one of industrial music's most important bands, amoing its highlights are two German language covers of their breakthrough hit - a cover of Eurotrash one hit wonder 'Live Is Life' by Opus - and a simialrly Teutonic version of 'Birth Of A Nation' by Queen. Terrifying, enthralling, disturbing and exhilarating - Laibach are all these things and this is a slice of them at their very best.
