This excellent set is signed by Arthur Machen, who wrote the introduction, and Clara Tice, the avant-garde New York illustrator.

Condition issues include a cracked front hinge on volume 1 and some loss of gilt lettering on the spine of volume 2, along with general light wear to the boards. All of the etchings by Tice are in excellent condition.
