Drop Dead gorgeous and elaborate Art Nouveau Sterling Silver hand mirror by Unger Brothers.

Nothing was spared in the repousse decoration. The center features two cherubs riding on a sea serpent. There is a gargoyle type fish at the top with ornate lily pads and cattails. On the sides are sea horses and more cattails and large coy type fish and two swan like stork birds. The handle features a draped nude lady on both sides.

This mirror was produced by Unger Bros. in the very early 1900s and is marked on the side with the UB mark Sterling 925 Fine.

This mirror measures 10" in length and is 5 3/4" wide. The beveled mirror is still very clear. There are some small dings on the sides from use but no major faults.

I have loaded many photos so you can see all of the fantastic detail.

Total weight is 393 grams. This is truly one of the nicest antique art nouveau hand mirrors that I have come across in quite some time.
