Large quarto, publisher's original embossed leather boards with elaborate gilt decoration and lettering. Two metal clasps. All edges gilt. Illustrated throughout in black and white, also with numerous color plates. Some rubbing and wear, hinges cracking, leather deteriorating, some minor discoloration, else in good + condition.
