Offered for your consideration is a NOS (New Old Stock) sealed package of Warner's Log Cabin Liver Pills. The product was advertised as "AN OLD FASHIONED ROOTS & HERBS VEGETABLE LAXATIVE SUGAR COATED PURE & HARMLESS". The pills were manufactured by the H. H. Warner Company of Rochester, New York, and bear a date of 1897. The pills in a sealed paper wrapper label, and I can detect that the pills are still loose, meaning not hardened from age. The end seals are marked with the selling price of $0.01. Overall, the item is in very good 'as found' condition, showing only minor handling, and some discoloration. The package measures 2 1/4" x 1" in diameter and has a weight of less than 2 ounces. Still presents very well for the vintage quack medicine or pharmaceutical collection.
