IMPORTANT: Please read the whole description, and the red print,  before you bid or buy.  You are bidding on or buying one  "Zurakowski Park Activity Book". A fun way to learn about two famous Canadians, Colonel. Janusz Zurakowski and the Avro Arrow. In the book you will find a quiz, word search, secret code, colouring pages and word scramble. This would be the ideal gift for the young Avro Arrow enthusiast. Here are some interesting facts about the Arrow. The first flight of the Avro Arrow took off from Toronto's Malton airport on March 25, 1958 from runway #32 at 9:51am. Canada made its contribution to the world of aviation was in the form of its CF-105. A two seat, twin jet, high altitude long-range interceptor, the Arrow had an approximate thrust of 60,000lbs and was equipped with Orenda Iroquois engines with afterburners. During test flights, the Arrow was equipped with J75 engines while the Orenda Iroquois were further developed on a B-47 test bed. The Arrow exceeded maximum speeds of Mach-2 and had a tremendous climbing capacity at all weights. With its thrust/weight ratio of1:1, it was only surpassed by the VTOL. Able to intercept and destroy enemy planes at 75,000 feet, the Arrow has a sharp delta wing span with trailing edges for reduced drag at high speeds.  Guided missiles were its intended armament. Wing span 50ft, length:77ft 9.75 inches. Height:21ft 3 inches. Weights: Empty:49,040 lbs, average take-off during trials 57,000 lbs. I accept payment through PayPal only. Winning bidder/buyer assumes the cost of shipping. Payment is due within 3 days once the auction has ended or the item is purchased and you receive the invoice. Item will be shipped in 1 to 2 business days once the payment has been received. Weekends and holidays do not count as business days. I will combine the shipping cost if more than one item is won or purchased, whenever possible, so please wait for the invoice to take advantage of the combined shipping offer because if you win or purchase one or more items, and pay for them separately, they will be shipped separately as I do not give refunds or partial refunds on the shipping cost so please wait for the invoice or you can "Request a Total" from me.  It seems that some folks are not sure about the term "combined shipping" or how it works. To clarify, if you win or buy more than one item and paid for each one separately eBay will take a cut of the shipping cost for EACH item. That is why if you pay for them separately they will be shipped separately. You can buy them but don't pay for them until you receive the invoice as it will have the combined shipping cost. Combined shipping saves you money. Why pay more if you don't have too? I hope this clears up any confusion.  Contact me with any questions you may have.  While you are here why not take a look at the other items that I have up for auction or for sale? Thank you for taking the time to view my item.
