HUGE!!!!! 20th Century Chinese Cloisonne Enamel & Bowl / Basin.

This was my Fathers's, I believe it's mid-20th century, but it might be earlier, but I don't know when or where he bought it. He had a large house but it's far too big for our house esp, as I'm now retired and we are looking to downsize.

The basin has a Buddhist temple lion decoration, the colours are extremely vibrant.

The basin measures 23 inches in diameter and just over 5 inches high. For a good idea of size, please see me holding it in the first image, it truly is HUGE!  

An amazing amount of work has gone into producing this basin, I dread to think how much it would cost to have it made today.
