Vintage Valley Forge Hawkbill Pocket Knife made in Newark New Jersey between 1892-1916 in what later became the Boker factory who continued to manufacture Valley Forge Knifes but on the back of the main blade they would put a VF in a circle. This knife has no markings on the back. The wooden handles are in remarkable condition considering it is over a hundred and ten years old! The handles are held firmly with very small pins done only by a skilled craftsman. The liners are steel, done only on the early Pocket Knifes. Later, they are brass. This is a very nice handmade Civil War Era Pocket Knife in good condition. If you're not happy for any reason, return the knife within 14 days for a full refund, no questions asked. Thanks for looking, John
