CONDITION : Please see above and photographs using the zoom feature to view condition exactly . This Aubusson is in excellent condition for its age, however it is not without signs of time and use. There are pulls , areas for repair where the warp thread has released creating a weft separation. The backing has a hole near the top about 6 inches and many smaller holes . This textile is not without signs of time and use, so not right for anyone requiring a perfect condition textile, however it's quite rare that I find an early 18th century tapestry in this good of condition ~ Condition is commensurate with age an absolutely fabulous textile ~
