This is a flask of cattleya intermedia orlata ('Rincon Point Break' x 'Canaima's Patrick' AM/AOS)..Hoping for some super orlata's from this cross. The 'Rincon Point Break' has wider petals and maybe a larger lip. The 'Canaima's Patrick' AM/AOS has bloomed for me with more flowers and larger than when awarded. unfortunately the AOS judging was shut down at that time. Cattleya intermedia is native to Brazil, where it can take cool to hot temperatures. Typical cattleya culture, except it should only be re-potted when new roots ae popping out.

The flask contains about 25 plants. They are ready to be planted. I take them out and wash them off and place on a tray with newspaper. I let them dry out for about a week ,but spray them with water once a day. then plant them in a tray with 1 inch plug holes and a bit of sphagnum moss. They should be kept warm and humid as babies.

The flower pictures are of the parents. The flask pictures are what you are bidding on. They are pictures of one these flasks, NOT necessarily the exact one you will get. The plastic will be taken off and inert imitation cotton placed on top of the plants to help keep them from tumbling in shipment. So, being that it will be exposed to air the plants should be taken out in a few days after receiving them. It is a sterile environment until the lid is taken off.  i do combine shipping if they fit in the same box.2 of 2 I have listed. NOTE: I included a picture of the replates  I deflasked.  Your plants will be similar to these.
