The Albemarle 5 tie premium Oxford shoes were made in Fosters' Northampton factory, but were not released to the market and the 2 pairs offered here are the only ones of 4 existing. The Albemarle is a "Whole-Cut" shoe, meaning that the uppers are made from one single piece of leather, and so only the highest quality calf skins can be used to make these shoes.

The Foster & Son ultra-premium range required a lot of hand working and the Albemarle had a target price of £1,275. They were hand-lasted on the new No. 83 last, which has the typical Foster smart chisel toe shape.

The shoes are new, boxed, wrapped and Foster branded, including lasted shoe trees in the same size and fitting as the shoe itself.

The only sizes available are 7.5 and 9.5,  UK E fitting, as no more of these shoes can be made.

10% of proceeds will go to Medecins Sans Frontiers to help with their work in Ukraine, Gaza and other troubled regions.
