This item is dated 2006 on the bottom. It is signed Jim ***** 2006y. It is not legible to me. I do not know if this bowl is meant for food use or just decorative.

The bowl portion is about 12" across x 3 1/2" tall. The lid potion is about 11" across. The handle on the lid has a small hole in it. This appears to be an intentional part of the design.
