These are 2 males of A1 quality Carabus (Procerus) scabrosus tauricus from S. Ukraine (Crimean peninsula). One male dark purple 47 mm and the other almost black 44 mm. Beetle is dried, unmounted and not pinned, treated with ethyl acetate, with full entomological labels, packed on cotton wool and a cardboard plate (see photo No. 2).
