This is an amazing find! The photos show everything. I am not sure of the age, but I do know it is very old. I am guessing from the 1920s or before, but that is strictly a guess. I do not know just how old it actually is, but you can tell it is old. This is a paint roller, with a metal paint tray / catcher. The roller is made of rubber or a similar material and it has raised, textured designs on the roller for painting designs on walls, or possibly even ceilings, PRE-WALLPAPER, perhaps?  I have never seen one before. It is incredibly rare, I do believe, but I could be wrong there. I believe that the design on the rubber roller is of plants / leaves / flowers, or some similar thing. It rolls very nicely.  The roller does not slide up to the pan without a little effort, however. It seems that the two brackets (?) or arms that you see in photos 16 and 17 need adjusting or something. It doesn't slide in "cleanly".  But it does move and is very cool. You can see it has a nice wooden handle. Photo number 15 shows the little collar at the end of the wooden handle is loose. Not a big deal, it can be easily glued in place, I just wanted to present it as I found it. I don't know what else to say about this very beautiful, unusual piece that the photos do not show. Please look closely at the photos, they are the description and they show the beautiful design and condition.  It weighs approximately 2 lb.  It could use a little cleaning if you were to use it. Please use the zoom feature and ask any questions and you may have.  THIS WILL SHIP USING UPS, FEDEX OR USPS, WHICHEVER I SELECT AT TIME OF SHIPPING.
