FENDER Japan ST62G-65 Custom Edition
N serial, 1993, made by FujiGen
While there is no "Custom Edition" inscription on the back of the neck, this is from the limited quantity Custom Edition line mentioned in the 1993 catalog.
The transparent color finish with gold hardware looks great. However, there is rust and dullness on the hardware.
There are light sticker residue marks on the back of the body, along with small dents and paint chipping throughout.
There are two small holes on the pickguard.
The frets are estimated to be about 60% remaining.
The neck has not been adjusted, and the truss rod has not been touched.
Due to sun exposure, the body sides have aged nicely, but the color has faded.
The body is made of American basswood, which is a good, versatile wood also used in high-end guitars like Suhr Guitars.
The middle and rear pickups produce a sound close to "Wonderful Tonight" from Eric Clapton's live album "Just One Night - Eric Clapton Live at the Budokan".
Case and tremolo arm are not included.
Due to work commitments, shipping will be done on Sundays.
Thank you for your understanding.
