FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE....!
Found in an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal, that of a family with ties to Germany.
Folk carved round hard wood cutting board that celebrates an old German custom....... Brotzeit!

Brotzeit is a German word that technically translates as “ bread-time ,” but has come to mean a hearty snack consumed between the main meals of the day.
The board measures 12 inches in diameter and has an additional feature..... A charming carving in bas relief of a Tyrolean Lad.
It is vintage and previously used.
On the back, there are visible knife marks. On the front however, a few as well, but those are very faint.
No chips in the wood, no cracks and it lays perfectly flat.
I inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a reference for size.
