Three octavos, ix, 585p; i, 611p; i, 617 pages, finely bound in full red leather with small raised bands, gilt lettered, and decoration to spines. Inside gilt dentelles, gilt decoration to edges of boards. All edge gilt. Marbled endpapers. In the front of volume 1 is a bookplate indicating that this set was a prize of the Honourable Society of Clifford's Inn, it was awarded to Harold George Downer and the bookplate is signed J. W. Budd. Very minimal rubbing, else in very good + to near fine condition.
