1971 Winston Filter Cigarettes Taste Good Grammar Great Catches Tobacco Print Ad
Original
Advertisement Page Placement:
Interior
A
single page, with both sides scanned and described.
Suitable
for Framing
Many
older magazine text/images were printed misaligned
or not squared.
Even within the page, text
and images can be skewed to some degree.
Trimming all four
edges doesn’t always fix the issue, and leaves less room to mat.
As
of 3/20/2024 I trim only the single edge that was attached to the
spine, at 90º
to the top edge. The
other 3 page edges will be left untrimmed. (In extreme cases, I may
trim excessive damage from the other edges.)
Except
for the single trimmed edge, you’ll
see the full
page exactly as it was created.
As
a result, sometimes the text and in-page images may look tilted; this
leaves maximum borders for matting later.
You
can
see the entire page, edges and all, resting
on a black border to help you judge overall condition. No
virtual cropping to make it look perfect, no hidden surprises when it
arrives.

Magazine Size: Approx

¼” x 10 7/8”
Condition:
Used.
These
are original pages from original magazines. They
are very old, and usually stored
in less-than-perfect environments. Foxing,
fading, discoloration are
common
and
present to
some degree.
Also corner folds, edge damage, creases, ripples, scuffs,
smudges
and other imperfections are
normal.
Pages
may show pressure marks from production or
years of storage.
Images
are scanned on black background, NOT matted or framed.
Many
older magazines printed
misaligned with
their
edges. I only trim
the spine edge, leaving the other three sides
untouched. When you mat the page, you can align as desired.
The
images are the EXACT SAME PAGE BEING SOLD AS IS.
PLEASE EXAMINE CLOSELY AND MAKE YOUR OWN JUDGMENT.
NOTES:
Ripples.
Significant tear sealed with document repair tape (see image on Side
2.)
If
there’s anything NOT
Included in the typical
conditions listed above, and
that cannot be seen in the
images,
I’ll add it
here.
Also
Note: Sometimes I describe
conditions
you can easily see for
yourself, just because I'm a
bit OCD… I’ve been told
that’s condescending and am trying to improve, but it’s hard to
resist. :^)
