The Pure 2.4 UVC system with 240W electrical power is for clean, algae-free water for ponds up to 140m³ and pools up to 150m³ with a max. Flow rate up to 150m³/h and up to 6 bar operating pressure.

The Pure 2.4 system consists of the 230V ballast in IP65 and two reactors made of stainless steel 1.4571 with an electropolished surface and 4x2 connections.

All components that come into contact with the aggressive UVC radiation are made of high-quality stainless steel (1.4404).
The water is passed through the stainless steel reactor past the UVC lamp - this guarantees complete disinfection performance.

General information about UVC radiation

Ultraviolet light in the wavelength range from 180 to 280 nm (nanometers) has a germ-reducing effect. The cell structure of bacteria, viruses, algae and other microorganisms is permanently damaged by UVC radiation of 254 nm. The genetic material (DNA) is changed so that the microorganisms can no longer reproduce and then die.
The UVC lamps used in this device emit light at exactly this wavelength. UV disinfection does not require long dwell times as the process takes place in fractions of a second.
