 Antique POLYCHROME and GILT FIGURE STATUES - CALVARY STATUES

OUR LADY OF SORROWS and ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST

Antique, 19th Century (1800's), Calvary wood statues: Our Lady of Sorrows and St. John the Evangelist, both on pedestals painted to imitate marble. Very nice sculpting and movement of the robes, polychroms, handpainted and with beautiful golden gilt decorations of flowers, leaves, stripes and also hammered gilt. Usually these statues stand one of each side of a Crucifix. Please note small damages to Virgin Mary fingers - see large photos below.

 Size: circa 7.17 and 7.28 inch = 182 and 185 mm high / 3.07 and 2.99 inch = 78 and 76 mm at the widest part  / Weight: circa 306gr
