A beautiful, primitive runner for your table. This was a vintage, hand sewn patchwork from a few vintage quilt pieces and eyelet lace ruffles all around.. . another item in my quest to use fabric pieces and give them a new life instead of them ending up in the landfill.
Each piece was hand sewn quilted years ago by some dear one's hands. The fabrics are not new, salvaged from clothing items no longer used. This was the custom years ago on most prairie homesteads. The motto of the times was: "Use it up; wear it out; make it do or do without!"
