Beautiful hand carved vase from Kenya.  Elephants and a Joshua tree are depicted here.  The elephants' trunks are raised as if calling out.  Great painted detail on every part.  It's soapstone so it's heavier than it looks.  The stone is polished so it shines.  Very nice piece for an eclectic collector.
