A Chinese carved stoneplaque attributed to the Tang Dynasty (618-907AD) depicting a court figureholding a stringed instrument such as a lute, the figure positioned under anarchway, robes flowing, hands holding and on the instrument.  The Tang Dynastyis considered the "Golden Age" in Chinese history and culturepartially because of its focus on the arts.
