A Paiute tribe inspired obsidian blade knife, with an elk antler handle. The entire display was handcrafted by the artist, Jeffery Pikyavit, who is a member of the Kanosh band of the Paiute tribe of Utah. The blade was knapped from a beautiful transparent Smokey gray obsidian. On the antler stand are replicas of actual petroglyphs that can be found in the area. The figure is the logo for the Kanosh band of Paiutes. He is the medicine man, Pah-Sah-Nav. Pah-means water/Sah Nav-means God. “The God of water.”
