Description

Offered for your consideration is an antique or vintage sculpture of a woman standing alongside a horse.  Made of bronze (although it has not been tested) with golden gilding, the statue is marked SHENANDOAH on one side and reads PROCTOR'S 23RD STR THEATRE on the reverse.  I believe that the sculpture was a souvenir for the play Shenandoah, which was created in the late 1800s.  The sculpture was crafted by N Mullers Sons of New York and bears a copyright of 1890.  It also bears No. 963, which I am guessing the item number for the company.  The statue is in good to very good 'as found' condition, but does appear to be missing a stirrup on one side and the reins to the horse.  There is an aged patina to the piece.   The base measures 4 1/8" x 3 1/4", and stands about 5" tall.  The weight of the artwork is 1 pounds 7 ounces, and will ship at a weight of 2 pounds 4 ounces, as it will be double boxed for protection.  A beautiful addition for the home decor!  Thank you for viewing my listing.
