Offered for your consideration is a vintage Paull's No. 0 kerosene lantern. The Wheeling Stanping Company was located in Wheeling City, West Virginia is believed to have been the manufacturer of the Paull's Lanterns. The lantern bears two patent dates of July 29th, 1890 and June 30th, 1908. Paull's manufactured lanterns from 1897, until 1946, when the company was sold to the R.E. Dietz Company. The color of the lantern appears to be all original, but I am unsure if the globe is original or a replacement, although it does have ground ends, which means that it is older. The tank is empty and I do not detect any holes or leaks. The lantern is in good to very good 'as found' condition, showing use and handling wear, and some oxidation to the metal. I have left the lantern as discovered and have made no attempt to clean or restore. The wick adjuster and the globe lever still appear to be in operating condition. The lantern only measures about 13 3/4" tall, and is 20" tall with the handle in the full upright position and has a 6 3/4" diameter base. It has a weight of about 2 pounds, and will ship at 3 pounds 6 ounces, as it will be double boxed for protection. A nice find for the collector! Auctions can be combined to save on shipping.
