Powers on, passes audio, effect works, however last time I used it there was a 50hz hum coming through the audio, so I'm assuming that the power supply needs a recap.

It is a pretty good colour compressor from the late eighties, from what I played with it I found that it can pull similar pumping effects to the alesis 3630 if driven right. I'd keep it and get it repaired but I've had to downsize over the last year and I don't currently have the space to justify keeping it.

 

It's been packed away with the berhri's in the SKB case since it started buzzing, with a silica desiccant pack in the bottom of the case to keep humidity down. This auction is for the yamaha only, no case or other equipment pictured included.

It will be wrapped well and boxed up tight and safe for shipping.
