Excellent vintage condition, slight overall wear, shows some manufacturing marks, no damage, NO handle, nice dark lid, beautiful patina, great color, my favorite fruit pattern, ripe cherries.
Approximate size 5 inches tall x 6 inches diameter.
This probably dates to early mid-century (1930s - 1950s). These jars usually have a wicker handle, if you want to replace the handle I would suggest using a Japanese style teapot handle, that you can get from a hobby store.
