Gorgeous antique magnifying glass with a Sterling art nouveau repoussé handle. This piece weights 125 grams in total, I cannot be sure how much of that is sterling. The handle shows some wear at the highest points, especially the nose (on both sides). The design is the same on both sides

The glass is 3 inches in diameter, the whole piece is 7 inches end to end. The Sterling handle is an inch at its widest. The band around the glass appears to be silver plated and the Sterling handle is connected by a brass coloured band.

The glass will slip out if man handled, but this should not be an issue if used gently. Would make such a beautiful addition to a desk or collection!
