2 Little old antique Leather books Poetical Works of ROBERT BURNS common prayer

1.  THE POETICAL WORKS OF ROBERT BURNS: with a Sketch of his Life, by James Curie,M.D. with many Additional Poems and Songs  and an enlarged and corrected Glossary

In Two Volumes.  volume I and II published together in one book. not dated.

  bookplate award certificate on front endpaper dated July 16th 1844.

"N.H.Morison's ACADEMY for Young Ladies,  awarded to Miss R Williams ...."etc

signatures, names of previous owners on endpaper. pages in very good clean condition, with a little yellowing, a few folded corners. maybe a little spots here or there. front inside hinge cracked, back inside starting. black cover is worn, split along spine edges edges , corners worn.  cute little book measures 4 1/4" by 2 7/8"

2. Book of Common Prayer.   Psalms, Hymns , Prayers , Lessons.  Book is missing both front and back covers, and first 18 pages, so I dont know the publisher or date. may be missing pages in back also ? other than the first and last page present, the inside pages are in very good clean condition. Leather spine covering has wear. but would still be look nice grouped with other little antique books on your bookshelf !!
