Musashi Oda Lotus katana from the Musha series of swords. It is well balanced, very quick, and provides much greater control than longer and not as well balanced swords. It can easily cut through three 2" diameter green bamboos tied together and would be great for light cutting exercises. Blade has been properly heat tempered and hand honed to a razor sharp edge. I personally tested one of these on a wood palette (didn't have green bamboo or tatami mats at that time), and with just a mild strike, the blade went into solid wood by about 3/4 of an inch without any damage to the blade. You'll get a brand new sword as I have more than one for sale. The sword is really well made, and I guarantee total satisfaction.
