This module can be used in any application that needs RS232 to TTL and TTL to RS232 level conversion. That is the case of almost
every microcontroller/FPGA UART that needs a RS232 connection to a personal computer. Four RS232 signals are converted (TxD, RxD,
CTS and RTS) making possible to do serial communication without hardware flow control (using only TxD, RxD), or with hardware flow
control (using TxD, RxD, CTS and RTS).
