The 802.11 wireless standard is a frequency hopping technology. It is said to provide additional security through obscurity. If you are unfamiliar with this standard then please research it prior to your purchase. It does not communicate with the more readily available 802.11b, g & n wireless standards. Brand new, old stock BreezeCom BreezeNet PCMCIA SA-PCR PC Wireless 802.11 LAN Adapter Card. This is the version of the card that has the small pull-out antennas attached to the card, non-removable. We also have another version that has detachable (removable) antennas in another listing. Contact me if you want that style. We have a master pack that these are coming out of. All brand new & it will also be tested in a live network environment prior to shipping to confirm it is OK & working properly before it goes out. Safely wrapped in anti-static protected bag and properly packaged-up to get to you safely. New pictures to come.

What is the wireless standard?

This is a 802.11 - Not 802.11 B, G, N, etc. Only connects to 802.11. This is a frequency hopping wireless access card. It will only work with other 802.11 frequency hopping standard devices. We primarily used this model with BreezeCom 802.11 Access Point (AP) units. All of them have been tested for complete functionality in an active network environment and are set to the default factory settings for the ESSID, etc. Any questions just contact me prior to your purchase as these units are sold as-is and returns not accepted. It will be very well packaged-up and protected. Only the wireless card is included, no driver software or instructions so do your homework first. The frequency hopping standard is much more secure than other forms of wireless, especially if you do not use encryption. This is listed as a 3mbps device.
