SYMPTOM DRIVEN DIAGNOSTICS
This USB pass-thru device utilizes the SAE J2534-1 API. What this means is that it uses a standard
communications interface to the vehicle, allowing it to work with Landrover IDS and SDD Dealer-level
diagnostics, programming and coding functions. This includes 1999 & Up Jaguar and 2005 & up Land Rover.
A subscription to IDS version 131 & up may be required, but this kit is ready to work straight out of the box.
Jaguar & Land Rover are now fully supported for dealer level diagnostics
& module programming with this kit. Jaguar / Land Rover have approved this tool as a supported interface
and now offer this Pass-thru device to their own dealership service centres as a factory diagnostics tool.
Coverage includes 1999 & Up Jaguar and 2005 & up Land Rover, requires a subscription to IDS version

This previously used and refurbished laptop comes with all parts functional and is twice more than adequate for
all diagnostic jobs and investigations and is more than tough enough to withstand the rigours of the garage
forecourt or the mobile mechanic. It will still give you years of service.
NOTE:- VIRTUALLY ALL OF OUR LAPTOPS HAVE A SCREEN PROTECTOR
GLUED TO THE SCREEN. THIS PLASTIC PROTECTOR WILL DEFINITELY HAVE SCRATCHES ON IT -
THAT IS ITS JOB. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE ABOVE
THE SCREEN BEHIND IS PERFECT. THE SCRATCHES ON THE SCREEN PROTECTOR
ARE NOT NOTICEABLE WHILST IN USE, BUT IF YOU CANNOT LIVE WITH IT, A
REPLACEMENT SCREEN PROTECTOR CAN BE INSTALLED BY THE BUYER, WITH GREAT
CARE. WE DO NOT REPLACE SCREEN PROTECTORS!

*5-Year warranty - the laptop will have the first two years parts and labour, plus an additional
three years labour only All cables and multiplexer will have one year warranty. Extended
warranty only to original purchaser - buyer pays all postage.
*5-Year software updates - You will be sent three vouchers. Each voucher can be redeemed
for a free update (normally £119 - $160) within 5 years of purchase. You may have to return
your hard drive or laptop to us for the update - buyer pays all postage. If the new update
requires a larger hard drive, you may buy that from us, or supply us the larger hard drive.

*Life-time support - We are always here to help the user of the diagnostic kit, even if your
kit has been sold to somebody else. We offer support on how your kit works, but not
on how to do individual jobs in repairing a car.
