The map covers from Lorrach, Basel, Waldhut In the SW, Across to Gleiwitz, Beuthen, Kandrzin, Oppeln in the SE - up to Insterburg, Tilsit, Konigsberg in the NE, and across to Flensburg, Wilhelmshaven, Emden, Papenburg in the NW
It Shows :-
Good detail at a scale of 1:2,180,000 (approx 35 miles to the inch, 21 km/cm)
There are two insets : 1 - Density of Population 2 - Mineral Distribution ( Coal, Tin, Lead, Silver, Cobalt, Mercury, Salt etc)
It measures a large 590 x 460 mm ( 23.25 x 18 inches) approximately, plus borders (not shown on the scan, which is 2 A3 scans stitched together electronically). It Originally would have been in an Atlas, edge mounted so as to avoid damage to the map, and not stapled. It has an as published central fold, which sometimes has glue residue stuck to the back (which can be removed easily for framing), and apart from titles is blank on the reverse This Map is a great size for mounting (or matting ) and framing. Anything more than a minor condition fault will be mentioned in the main body of the description, but please check the pictures carefully.
This item will be packaged in a tube.
