Condition Guidelines: I do go to great lengths to be as accurate as I can be with regards to what exactly you are bidding on.  If you have any specific questions about any item I urge you to contact me and I will do my best to fully answer your questions in a timely manner. There are so many interpretations out there that people use to judge conditions of everything.  I have detailed below how I personally judge the condition of the the pens I sell. Please note I always list in my ANY ISSUES section any observations I have about the condition of all my items.

Mint: New and unused will nearly always be in the original box and will be good enough to be what I would call collectors condition.

Near Mint: New like in appearence, will have been inked and maybe used but has been cared for with the utmost care has little to no marking whatsoever.

Excellent: Will have some signs of usage but is FULLY FUNCTIONAL and will load ink via whatever method it uses and write.  It retains all the original parts with the possible exception of a new ink sac, it will have no dents, no gouges and no cracks. It will probably have minor scratching due to usage.

Very Good: The pen will have been well used and shows general wear overall caused by normal use with small scratching and perhaps some brassing.  It will be FULLY FUNCTIONAL and will load ink via whatever method it uses and write.  It will have no dents, gouges or major imperfections.

Good: A pen that has been well used.  There will be some wear and tear however it will be FULLY FUNCTIONAL and will load ink via whatever method it uses and write.

About Us

Hi my name is Neil and I spend all of my time split living between the USA and the UK (explained further on) which is why although listed as USA based at some periods of time I sell my items from the United Kingdom.

I got back into my love of pens when my Mother passed away back in 2013. When going through her things I found my old college pen, a Parker 45 Flighter that was brought for me as a Christmas present on 24th December 1976.

Sadly when my Mother did pass I had to take over the care of my Father who has Dementia and requires 24/7 care. As he is not a USA Citizen I can only be in the USA with him for 6 months at a time before I have to return to the UK for 3 months to satisfy US Visa regulations.  I mention this because so many of my "followers" ask why from time to time my shipping costs go up and down.  That is the reason why.

I have always been a Parker pen fan from my early days for sure. I find most of todays pens charmless and characterless and whilst their nibs may be more consistent they are boring  My favorite era would be from the 1930's through to early 1960's.

I love flexible nibs although I have neither the time or skill to master their wonderful properties, maybe one day! Writing with a fountain pen again has improved my hand writing, I can almost read it again and of course it reminds me of my younger days and a different era!!!

I try to do the best with all of my pens, I understand everyone has different reasons for buying one from me. Some are collectors, some just want a pen they used to own many years gone buy, some buy for gifts and some just because they want to. I want all of you to be happy. I do my very best to describe my pens both in word and picture. I too am still learning, I am not an "expert" merely an interested guy trying to improve my knowledge of these amazingly simple yet complex instruments.

Best of luck with your pen and thank you.

Neil.
