Turbocharger is a sophisticated and precise device. Incorrect use or modifications can cause damage. Wrongly connected pipes can damage the turbine and/or engine. It is very important to find the reasons for incorrect operation of turbocharger and to eliminate them before mounting a new turbocharger or remanufactured one. Check the whole intake system and if necessary please clean it. Then change the air filter. Any kind of dirt can cause damage of turbocharger. Only parts that are recommended by vehicle producers (OEM parts) can be used. Oil system has to be checked in respect of tightness and permeability, so that oil can flow without any disturbance. Seals in grease system of turbocharger should be checked. In case of any disturbance or damage, please change immediately. IMPORTANT Change the oil in engine and oil filter. -very important Change oil feed pipe-very important Change aif filter-very important Clean the oil pan -very important Clean inter coolers-very important Change gasket-very important In case of any problems, we will need your exchange bills of these things and any parts what need to be replaced with turbo exchanging process. Only parts recommended by producer can be used. If mounting a turbocharger only new seals should be used for the collector. Screw used for the mounting should be high temperature resistant and recommended for exhaust system use. Exhaust collector should be checked and if necessary also cleaned. Any dirt can cause damage on turbocharger.Connect the grease system. Pour clean engine oil to the inside of turbocharger through a special slot, to avoid "dry" start of engine, while twisting at the same time the turbocharger rotor. Then install in sequence other connections. No pressures on connections in turbine should come up while mounting After shutting off power supply/ignition turn the kick-starter to develop pressure in grease system. Then start the engine and let it run on no-load for about 30 s. Check all connections and mountings for tightness and leaks. GuaranteeAll Turbopowertec's turbochargers carry a 12 months warranty from the date of supply, with an no limit of miles in service, provided that the turbo has been fitted and serviced in accordance with the vehicle manufacturers, and Turbopowertec's fitting instructions Turbopowertec do not regard any warranty period above 12 months to be of benefit to our customers. Turbochargers incorrectly built will fail long before 12 months from fitting. Failure after this period will invariably be caused not by faulty manufacture, but by circumstances outside the control of the original turbo build Exchange Turbochargers The Supplier Warranty on turbos is given for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase and no mileage limit. Proof and date of purchase of turbocharger and replacement turbo oil feed pipe will be required before any claim can be made under the Supplier Warranty. The Supplier Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the turbocharger. Particular attention should be paid to the turbocharger’s oil supply and ensuring that a high degree of cleanliness is maintained while fitting the turbocharger. The Seller shall not be liable for any repair or replacement if a turbocharger fails because of insufficient cleanliness during the fitting process. No liability will be accepted if the turbocharger boost setting is outside the figures recommended by the Seller or the original vehicle manufacturer. The boost setting must always be checked after fitment to comply with this warranty. Proof, in the form of receipts, may be required verifying that routine servicing has been carried out as per the manufacturer’s recommendations since the turbocharger was fitted. Special emphasis is placed upon oil change intervals, oil filter replacement and engine oil quality. In this respect, Turbopowertec recommends that you use a grade of oil approved and recommended by your vehicle manufacturer, as documented in the handbook. If you wish to make a claim under the Supplier Warranty you must first contact the distributor who originally supplied the turbocharger. The Supplier will carry out a thorough examination of all components before a decision is made as to the validity of a warranty claim and if the Supplier accepts liability under the Supplier Warranty the distributor will contact you. Although sympathetic to every warranty claim, only exchange units which fail due to defective workmanship or parts are warrantable. Failures due to circumstances or conditions outside our control cannot be accepted under the Turbopowertec warranty. Contact Us
