The CCA-748-600 cable connects your iPod to selected Clarion receivers. Once connected, you'll be able to listen to your iPod music files while driving, view your iPod video files when you're parked, and keep your iPod fully charged. The cable also enables your Clarion receiver to provide touchscreen control over your iPod's music playback, while the receiver displays the title, genre, and artist information stored on your iPod. You'll continue to access video functions from your iPod's controls.
Overview: You can transfer audio and video from an iPod video (5th generation), iPod nano (3rd/4th generation), iPod classic (80/120/160GB), or iPod touch (1st/2nd generation) to your Clarion in-dash DVD multimedia head unit using the connector cable. Control of your iPod is transferred over the cable's USB connection, while audio and video are transferred over a composite video and stereo RCA connection. Video can only be displayed while the vehicle is in park (the unit will display "Audio Only" when your vehicle is in motion). The cable will also charge your iPod video when connected to your compatible clarion headunit and the unit is on.
